What if I can’t participate during the week of the cleanse? Can I purchase the cleanse and do it at my own time?
The answer is YES! You will be able to complete the cleanse whenever it works for you
Will I be starving on this program?
No, darling, you won’t. I believe that there is so much more to life than deprivation. Most participants from previous cleanses said that they were surprised that they didn’t feel hungry. This detox is not about putting you on a calorie restrictive diet. It is about feeding your body delicious, nourishing food that will satiate you. There will be eating and drinking – soups, stews, veggies, herbal teas and smoothies. We simply remove common allergens, foods and liquids that inflame and congest our bodies like gluten, dairy, sugar and caffeine and fill it with nutrient dense foods that support us. This cleanse will give you a chance to step out of ‘fight or flight’ mode and focus on doing essential organ repair work.
Will I have to eat strange foods I’ve never heard before?
Many of the foods will be familiar to you, but I will also introduce you to some new ingredients and recipes that will become favorites of yours even after the detox. You will be able to pick and choose which foods and recipes you want to eat during the detox. You can stick with the foods you know, or you can choose to be a little adventurous and try something new. It’s totally up to you!
Can I do this? I’ve never done a cleanse before.
Yes, you CAN! The cleanse is not designed to be hard on your body, in fact it’s meant to ease the burdens put on our bodies daily and over time.

What side effects will I experience? Will I be running to the bathroom all day long?

The side effects are very personal and individual. Some people might just experience a slight headache and others might have white tongue coating, body odor and a day of feeling cranky and tired. Whatever the effects, think of it as your body’s way to get rid of toxins and a sign that your hard work is paying off. And no, you will not have to worry about running to the bathroom.

How is this cleanse different from the one you offered in the spring?
Spring is the time of releasing and fall is the time of gathering. In the Spring we address the liver and gallbladder, in the Fall we address the large intestines and the lungs. This will mean a Winter with stronger immune system (fewer colds and flus, thank goodness) and a more efficiently running digestive system. In the fall your body needs warm, nourishing fuel. You will learn how you can cleanse, enjoy yummy food and warm and nourish your body up at the same time.
Why do we want to cleanse in the Fall anyway?
Fall is the second best time to cleanse (Spring being the first). Cleansing your system in the fall will help you avoid the feelings of heaviness and fatigue that are associated with wintertime and help you come out ahead of the game in the spring. Cleansing in the fall can help to prevent holiday weight gain and the buildup of toxins that would be released by exercise in the summer months.  
Will I have to buy any special or hard to find ingredients?
This is a whole-foods based cleanse. You will be able to buy most ingredients at the farmer’s market or at your grocery store. You might have to make a trip to a local health food store to pick up some super foods like hemp seeds and chia seed. I also make a few recommendations

for supplements (like probiotics, for example) but it is not necessary to purchase them. Don’t worry! I will be supporting you the whole time. We are in this together, darling!

I’m very busy. Will food prep take a lot of my time each day?
If you live by yourself, no. This will not require extra time in the kitchen, if you already cook your meals. If you cook for others – MAYBE. Many of these dishes will be liked by your family, but you might have to make some dishes separate for you. So just be prepared for a little more prep time. You can also do much of the preparation on the weekend. I will give you tips on suggestions how to do that (like prepping some veggies ahead of time and making some meals on the weekend). However, it is recommended that you honor this time as “slow down” days and give yourself the time and space to heal and thrive. You know you deserve it. 🙂
I have to go to work every day. Can I still do this?
Yes, you can. The best way to do this if you work is to make less commitments that week, prepare some food over the weekend, get to bed earlier, and to ask for some help – enlist your spouse, kids, or friends if needed.
Will I need any special equipment?
Having a blender to make smoothies or a juicer is great, but it is not required.
Will I get support from you?
Of course! I will be available to answer all your questions and support you throughout this cleanse via e-mail.
How will I know what to do?
You will receive step-by- step instructions via email where I will walk you through exactly what to do. You will know exactly what to have for each meal throughout the whole week and when you transition out.
Do we meet in person?
No, there’s no need. All materials will be sent to you via email. You will receive support via daily inspirational emails in the comfort of your home. Pull up a glass of vino and relax with a little love and tenderness each day.
What makes this cleanse different?
In addition to the food plan and lots of love and support from me, you will receive daily lifestyle exercises to create transformation in these other areas. (Everyone loves these! Will I lose weight?
People often lose weight following a protocol like this. Although everyone is different and nothing can be guaranteed. Sometimes there are more complex issues that may need some personalized attention. However, you will look better, have more energy and as you go through the program your skin will be clearer. Isn’t that worth something too? Remember, excess weight is waste. Once you get rid of some of the waste the weight will start to go with it.
